Cards may be strengthened through enhancement. Already strengthened cards and unstrengthened cards can be chosen to enhance any given card. Doing so will deplete your mani.
Enhancing your cards enough will build up experience and level up their ranks and also their stats by a given amount. The card's rank differs by level.
